The product
What does Vizum actually install?
Two Odoo modules, inside the Odoo database you already run. They add a windowed desktop — floating windows, a dock, Mission Control — and an app store for vApps: small applications that open in that desktop.
Does it patch Odoo core?
No. Zero core patches. The modules are ordinary Odoo addons: they install, update and uninstall through the Apps menu like any other, and removing them leaves your Odoo as it was.
Which Odoo versions are supported?
17, 18, 19 and 20, Community and Enterprise, and every new Odoo release as it lands.
Is a vApp allowed to read my whole database?
No. Every vApp declares in its manifest which models and fields it needs, and the server enforces that list independently — a call outside it is refused even if the app asks. The app itself runs in a sandboxed frame with no access to the page around it.
How is it priced?
One flat rate per Odoo database, with your whole team included however many people that is. Managed AI is separate and pre-paid: you top up a balance and it is consumed by use. See Pricing.
Your data
Where does my Odoo data live?
On your own server. The Window Manager and the Apps Platform are modules running inside your Odoo, against your database. Your business records never leave it because of them.
Two things are different, and they are named explicitly below: the account you create on this store, and anything you send to the managed AI.
What does Vizum store about me?
For a store account: your name, your email address and the IP address the request came from. For a licence: the address of the Odoo instance it belongs to. For billing: identifiers issued by Stripe.
Card numbers never reach our servers. Payment runs through Stripe Checkout — the card goes from your browser to Stripe, and we receive an identifier.
Where are Vizum's own servers?
In the United States. The store, the database and the file storage all run on DigitalOcean infrastructure in New York.
If you are in the European Union, that is an international transfer, and it is described in the privacy policy rather than left to be discovered.
Which AI model reads my documents?
The one you choose, per application. The managed AI can route to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Google Cloud Vision (for OCR), xAI, MiniMax or Mistral, and the choice is yours and visible in the app's settings.
Content you send for chat, embedding, OCR or transcription is sent to the provider you selected in order to answer, and to no other.
If I cancel, what happens to what I indexed?
The documents and vectors you indexed into the managed knowledge system are kept for 30 days after the subscription ends, and then deleted. Re-subscribing inside that window cancels the deletion and everything is still there.
Any remaining AI balance stays usable: it is credit, not storage.
Do you track me across the web?
No. This site sets three cookies and no others:
session_id to keep you signed in,
frontend_lang to remember your language,
and VZLB so the load balancer keeps you
on the same server. All three are strictly necessary
for the site to work.
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party cookie — which is also why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner.

At Developers. Three files and the SDK are enough for a first app, and the documentation includes a playground that runs in the browser.
